Thunder baskteball is taking Oklahoma City by storm. With superstars such as Kevin Durant joining the team they have been getting a very warm welcome in their new home. The Ford Center will play host to this budding franchise. Built in 2002, the Ford Center is state of the art and hosts a number of amateur sports franchises. It is a 586,000 square foot arena that seats nearly 20,000 and features over 3000 club seats, 7 party suites and 49 private suites.

The games will be broadcast on Citadel Broadcasting's WWLS 640 AM and WWLS-FM 98.1 FM, also known as "The Sports Animal." Thunder games can be found on television's new "Fox Sports Oklahoma" network. The network will carry 65 OKC games and will reach more than 1 million homes in the state. Many of the games will be broadcast in high definition to local viewers. Head coach PJ Carlisimo will lead a roster that includes Kevin Durant, Nick Collison, Indiana's own DJ White, and OSU Alum Desmond Mason.
